Our aim is to produce ciders with depth, unique flavors and finishes. Flavors that offer an alternative to wine, flavors that represent the seasons, compliment different foods and can be enjoyed in their own right at home or in the pub.

To achieve this we follow a rustic process sourcing heritage apple varieties, pressed by a traditional oak hand press then allowing nature to take its course in fermenting the juice. We then take the process a stage further by selecting those ciders that benefit from aging and letting them mature in oak barrels or adding blends of spice to create a variety of spiced cider.

Cider Apple Varieties
Explore our range of Ciders and you explore our orchard. We produce familiar apples like the rich, full flavored Egremont Russet and the classic, sharp but sweet Bramley as well as varieties that have been almost forgotten; heritage apples such as Grenadier, Scarlet Pimpernel and Laxtons Superb, still fruiting from trees almost 100 years old. Once deemed no longer commercially viable they are enjoying a resurgence in the search for new flavors and blends in the art of artisan cider making.
Oak Matured Cider
A selection of our cider is Matured “for a minimum of 12 months” in oak casks. We use both scottish whiskey barrels and rum barrels! This process intensifies the ciders golden color and adds a new dimension to your glass.
Spiced ‘Mulled’ Cider
During the winter months our Spiced Cider has become our biggest seller, with a unique apple and spice blend, lightly mulled – not boiled – then served piping hot is comforting and relaxing drink on a cold night.
